Management of hyperspectral images for scientific research of small teams

This work presents a brief analysis of the current situation in the management of hyperspectral images within research activity of small scientific teams. Current state and prospects of development of software with features of hyperspectral image management in Russia and abroad during development of techniques and algorithms for hyperspectral image processing are treated. The program complex HyExplorer developed in Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK) for management of hyperspectral images is presented. HyExplorer allows to free users from performing some routine operations in the management of the original hyperspectral images and results of their processing. HyExplorer has been tested by development of algorithms for enhancement of hyperspectral images. HyExplorer has shown the high efficiency at stages of test data gathering and findings of optimal parameters for the developed algorithms.
