Multy-frequency polarization measurements of microwaves propagating into ice cover

The results of the radiotransparency experiments of ice covers at centimeter (2 cm) and millimeter (8 mm) wavelengths are presented. It is founded, using multipolarization measurements, that incoherent additional electromagnetic waves appear in ice under mechanical stress and plastic deformation. Measurements of these waves allow to observe flowing of icy structure. The effect of signal increasing on some polarization was discussed and some earlier observation peculiarities of microwaves propagation were explained.
