In paper the main ratios used for calculating radio thermal radiation of sea surface in the presence of long wind-waves are considered. The type of the presented ratios allows to simplify understanding the main stages of the model's calculations: radiation of an elementary area; calculation of the radiometric receiver's response depending on orientation of receiving antenna; calculating of the rereflected radiation of atmosphere; changing of the effective area of radiation of elementary area; calculating of the slope's distribution function of a disturbed surface.
Keywords: radio thermal radiation, long wind-wave components, radiation of the elementary area, self-shading effect, function of the visible distribution
