An opportunity is considered to solve one of the urgent for the Southern part of Russia problem of the objective assessment of natural and anthropogenic threats for the motor highway and railway road function due to the landslide processes using remote sensing data. The proposed approaches are based on the applied aspects of the information and measurement system concept driven by satellite and testing ground-based data. Examples are shown of a practical realization of the techniques under discussion concerning the threats exposure of the landslide processes for the engineering constructions on several sites of the target area.
Keywords: landslide process, recognition feature, test site, texture, satellite imagery of high resolution
