The database on the thermokarst lake's areas in permafrost territory of Western Siberia is formed for the period 1973-2009 yrs using space images Landsat. The database contains the information on 30 thousand the lakes located in zones of continuous, discontinuous and patchy permafrost. Distribution of lakes number by their sizes is given. Illustrative examples of practical use of a database are resulted.
Keywords: permafrost, thermokarst lakes, database, space images
