Analysis of quiet Sun emission impact into L-band thermal microwave emission of the sea surface

Analysis of quiet Sun emission impact into L-band thermal microwave emission of the sea surface is made by comparison of field experiment data and model calculations. Field experiments were held in years of quiet Sun on he Experimental Department of MHI NASU offshore sea platform in Katsiveli (Crimea) in august 2007 and October 2009. Model calculations were made by Kirchhoff method in suggestion of fully developed waves. Comparison of experimental data and the model calculation results shows that general character and maximum impact of Sun emission are in a good enough agreement.
