The article deals with methodological approaches of using remote sensing data for reforestation by identifying relations of reforestation dynamics signs and visual remote materials properties. An analysis of the relationship and their practical application is seen as one way to monitor large-scale processes in the boreal forests and forest ecosystems dynamics research.
