The paper presents data analysis of wave disturbances in the Earth's upper atmosphere identified by recording their own airglow in the region of Eastern Siberia. The observations were made using an optical range of geophysical observatory of ISTP SB RAS (52 º N, 103 º E), comprising the wide-angle CCD - camera, a spectrograph to measure the temperature of the neutral atmosphere at altitudes of 80-100 km (OH (6-2)) and 4 -channel zenith photometer. A comparison of observation of wave disturbances with the time of the tropical cyclones in the southwest Pacific Ocean. Using the estimated ratio between the periods of internal gravity waves (IGW) and horizontal range of the IGW source to the observation point, we calculated the estimated IGW period for tropical cyclone trajectories under consideration. A good agreement between the values of experimentally observed and calculated periods of the perturbation IGW period. This indirectly may indicate that tropical cyclones can be sources of disturbances observed at great distances from the region of the tropical cyclone.
Keywords: Atmospheric emissions, internal gravity waves, the temperature at altitudes of the mesosphere - lower thermosphere, wave disturbances
