Monitoring of long-term Changes of Vegetation Cover of Arid and Semi-arid Zones of Kazakhstan with the Use of Remote Sensing Data

The article shows the results of the analysis of long-term changes in the state of vegetation cover of Kazakhstan territory based on NOAA / AVHRR satellite data for assessing interannual features in response of vegetation to variations in weather conditions. Processing methodology included an assessment of multi-satellite distributions of integral and differential vegetation index, showing the dynamics of vegetation.
