The article considers the pressing questions of using remote sounding and GIS data to study hazardous surface
processes across Southwest Crimea. The techniques of visual and automated decoding of space images are discussed.
The geoecological condition of the investigated area is studied. An interactive map of surface processes
across Southwest Crimea has been developed for the purpose of ecological monitoring and control of surface
process activation.
