The analysis of snow storage character
with the satellite information using

The comparative analysis of the observed snow storage data and of the restored on the satellite ones over the East
European plain and the Scandinavia is carried out. The range of errors for the restored data is estimated and their
reasons are determined. Typification of errors for air temperature is fulfilled. The developed approach of an estimation
of reliability of the restored data is suggested for selection of the representative satellite data for snow cover
studies.
