The application area for satellite data is growing very fast nowadays, so do the archives and catalogues of satellite
data and derived products in various receiving and processing centers. The paper discusses modern requirements for
systems providing use of such catalogues and describes the basic architecture and general features of using the data
catalogues in the Research Center for Earth Operative Monitoring (NTs OMZ).
