The set of LANDSAT images (resolution 30 m) during 1986-2007 years for scene (path\row: 160\24), disposed in
steppe zone of Northern Kazakhstan was used for expert mapping of water bodies and estimation its changes with
help of three categories: increasing, stable, decreasing. The changes of lakes of test territory during 1986-2007 years
demonstrate tendency of increasing water bodies sizes. Dynamic of lakes sizes in arid and sub arid territories related
with climatic humidity circles. Therefore test territory in current time is characterized by growing surface humidity.
