This work presents the results of study of the seasonal variations of the 557.7 nm airglow intensity (emitting height
is~85-115 km) for middle latitudes of the Asian region. Experimental data of the nightglow observation obtained at
the ISTP SB RAS Geophysical observatory (52N, 103E, Eastern Siberia) were analyzed. Seasonal variations of the
557.7 nm emission at different levels of solar activity were obtained.
It is shown, that regional features of the 557.7 nm nightglow seasonal variations can be result of influence of geographical
irregularity of frequency of occurrence of stratospheric warmings in the East - Siberian region.
Keywords: upper atmospheric emission, nightglow, seasonal variations
