A sample of high local diurnal warming of sea surface in the Okhotsk sea during a summer solstice was considered. The available empirical models of the warming were compared. The models do not explain the observable phenomenon. For the explanation of such warming the physical models of convectional mixing, calculation of thermal flows on the surface of ocean-atmosphere, transformation of the solar radiation in the atmosphere and absorption of radiation by water are considered. The recommendations for creation of the satellite SST algorithms are offered.
