The analytical approach for solving the inverse problem of cloud optics was former elaborated for processing another experimental data. Here it is applied for the interpretation of data of airborne observation of solar diffuse radiance in extended clouds. Measurement was accomplished in 8 spectral shortwave channels: 340, 381, 472, 682, 870, 1035, 1219, 1273 nm. The preliminary results are presented.
Keywords: atmospheric optics, extended clouds, inverse problem, airborne observation, optical thickness, single scattering albedo
