Method of satellite phytoindication for research of transgression of
reservoirs in Western Siberia

On an example of Omsk region boggy lakes and adjoining parts of their gathering basins study are
considered possibilities of using satellite data for a remote estimation of water reservoir transgression
scales and growth of territorial humidity. The method of satellite phytoindication of the specified
processes is based on images from radiometre LISS-III of satellite platform IRS-1D. Research of
brightness-spectral and vegetative characteristics of various types of vegetation, and also spatial and
high-rise (depending on a relief) distribution of vegetative communities is conducted. With use of the
land geobotanical data the estimation of accuracy of the offered method is spent.
