An example is given of the practical realization of one of the urgent aspects of the information and
measurement system concept for the South of Russia using remote sensing data of the Earth (RSDE).
This concept is concerned with the agricultural grain-crops condition assessment after wintering.
Considering the snow cover state as a definite factor in the solution of the asserted problem, a joint
analysis is conducted of the satellite data classification results and the hydro-meteorological
observations. An opportunity of the information technologies application using the RSDE is shown on
the Adygeya Republics example to gain integral estimates of the winter wheat and barley condition after
wintering.
Keywords: remote sensing data, the satellite data classification, hydro-meteorological observations, integral estimates, data base of ground observations
