More precise automatic burnt out forest places space detection using high resolution satellite data
block is developed for the Russian National Forest Fire Protection Agency monitoring service (ISDM
Rosleshoz). First version of the automatic burnt out forest places detection algorithm is discussed in the
paper. Block architekture for the high resolution satellate data archives processing is presented. Detected
space estimation incorporation into the ISDM Rosleshoz , first results of the block application and its
future development are described.
Keywords: burnt out forest places detection, segmentation, histogram analysis, remote sensing automatisation
