The new concept of monitoring of a maximum wind velocity of bursts based on the numerical
hydrodynamic prognosis and the geostationary satellite measurements of cloud top radiation temperature
is considered. The consistency between the measurements of the maximum surface wind velocity and
results of its automated evaluation is shown. The method restrictions are shown. The practical usefulness
of new maps for the analysis of the sea and flatness wind is marked.
