Study of Volga Riverbanks dynamics in Ulyanovsk city by means of SAR Interferometry

The applicability of differential SAR interferometry to ERS-1/2, ENVISAT, and PALSAR data for
analysis of surface movements in the city of Ulyanovsk is discussed. Parameters of observation that
influence on the result are examined. Some territories with surface dynamics are revealed. Both C- and
L-band data are shown to be suitable for surface dynamics investigation for urban areas. L-band data
demonstrated the preference for surface motion analysis.
