The UFIKT project of the space system (SS) for remote sensing of Earth surface and atmosphere
that provides for high resolution survey in the UV, visible, and IR (from near through mid to thermal)
spectral ranges is presented. The SS is based on a small spacecraft weighting ~300 kg on the base the
NEVA space platform developed by the Arsenal Design Bureau. Performance characteristics of the SS,
missions and prospects of the market for the project are reviewed. Technological advance gained by the
Arsenal Design Bureau and the State Optical Institute makes it possible to create the UFIKT SS in the
nearest future at rather low expenses and to provide its consumers with the top-quality data on the Earth
remote sensing.
