Geodetic binding of images from the geostationary
satellite on a contour of a disk of the Earth and electronic maps

The technology of a geodetic binding of images from geostationary companions on the basis of sharing of
two approaches is presented. The first approach is based on the analysis of planimetric points of a disk of the
Earth contrastly displayed against space. The second approach is based on automatic combination of unique
fragments of the coastal lines displayed in pictures, with the objects of electronic maps with the same name. It is
executed precision analysis of this technology, recommendations about its practical use are given.
