Integration of satellite data and service provider

The problems of creating an information system of a satellite centre that best satisfies users’ requirements have been considered. Information system interaction with other similar ones is a necessary condition for the task solution. The global information systems that have united different service-providers are EOSDIS/NASA and the service oriented platform SSE (Service Support Environment) of European Space Agency. The enlargement of functional abilities of such systems is an urgent task. The development by Roscosmos of the State Information System for Real Time Delivery of Remote Sensing Data (SIS RTD RSD) is an attempt to solve the task. SIS RTD RSD is intended for integration of different service providers. Minimization of expense for both Roskosmos and the owners of external information systems under integration is the key aim of the system design. The Satellite Centre of Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences took part in the SSE project and acquired appropriate experience. The problems of data and service exchange between providers, and possible solutions are considered.
