Access features to the Basic Product Bank geoinformation service resources

The paper deals with the main technological and program solutions implemented in the Basic Product Bank geoinformation service in order to provide the information products to the customers, which are generated on the basis of Russian and foreign Earth remote sensing data. First, the main web-based application program interface architecture solutions are discussed: 1) access to the service resources is provided by API-key only; 2) the work with regulatory reference information is implemented as a micro services set; 3) access to the full-size information products data is executed in the asynchronous mode. Second, the following graphic user interface features are considered: 1) data search and order possibility using the cartographic base; 2) flexible tools of the AOI and time ranges selection; 3) single package full-size image downloading possibility, as well as ordered scenes and information products on-line analysis. Third, estimations of the number limits of requests to the service resources are made, for example, the metadata search and obtaining of more than 17 K scenes of Meteor-M KMSS data takes less than 10 sec. In conclusion, the prospects and the development possibilities of the service resources access are discussed, in particular, creation of data search tools for the Northern and Southern Poles regions, as well as data and information products access in synchronous mode (by the direct links).
