This paper presents the methods and results of calculations of topographic roughness of the Moon on the basis of a global digital elevation model derived on the basis of the photogrammetric processing of satellite images Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Here are described in detail the criteria for evaluation of the statistical characteristics. Also here is described the work on the calculation of the statistical parameters of the lunar relief according to a digital elevation model (DEM GLD 100). Results of the comparative analysis of the values obtained by different methods are shown. As results of mapping global maps of topographic roughness of the Moon are presented.
