IKFS-2 ground calibration is related to the characterization of all parameters and characteristics needed to convert the raw interferogram into the input spectral radiance with required accuracy. As a result of thermal vacuum tests, detector/preamp nonlinearity and internal calibration target spectral radiance were measured, after that systematic radiometric error and noise equivalent spectral radiance (NESR) were obtained. IKFS-2 instrument line shape was measured as the spectral response of the instrument to a monochromatic radiation of CO2-laser (10.3 um) and HeNe-laser (5.4 um). In addition, measurements of downwelling spectra of atmosphere were conducted and compared with modeled data, based on radiosonde measurements
