Errors diminishing in estimates of the winter crop areas using Earths remote sensing data taking into account the agricultural lands structure

Technique is proposed of error diminishing in estimates of winter agricultural crop areas for the regions with a saturated
structure of the agricultural fields that is based on the satellite data usage with a detailed spatial resolution as well as
the usage of the land use organization plan-schemes. A remote sensing project has been elaborated concerning the
structure of the agricultural lands and the areas have been assigned of the structure components. The obtained results
verify an opportunity to diminish the estimation error for the considered areas encompassed by winter crops by 2-3
times for the expense of incorporating the selecting operation of the ploughed fields into the classification procedure
of satellite images. Cadastre information [www.rosreestr.ru] has been shown to be included into this and similar other
projects that enables the user to enhance the possibility of the information description for the objects represented by
the agricultural lands.
