The use of the methods of processing and analysis of heterogeneous
data (data fusion) as applied to the data on fishing fleet vessels tracks
and the information contained in daily vessels report

In this paper data fusion methods are applied to integration of heterogeneous data in Rosrybolovstvos vessel monitoring
system data base. Based on the information about GPS/GLONASS positioning of vessels at certain time intervals it is
found out possible to interpret vessels activities, in particular the fishing of marine biological resources, which in turn
allows plotting catch maps. The possibility of applying this approach to the analysis of harvesting production using
different methods and instruments of fishing is discussed.
