The algorithms for the processing of outgoing shortwave radiation measurements from "Meteor- M" N. 1 satellite

The detailed description of the algorithms for processing of the IKOR radiometer observations from "Meteor-M" N. 1 satellite are given. This algorithms are used in programs which consecutively support all procedure of the processing and results presentation. The possibility for visual control and preliminary analysis of the instant readings on the geographical map background and scaling possibility of the selected section of the map or orbit tracks is presented. The final product is represented as a global maps of outgoing shortwave, albedo and absorbed solar radiation. The resolution on the maps is given by the grid 2.5×2.5° in geocentric coordinates. The method of receiving of the monthly averaged values of outgoing shortwave radiation, albedo and absorbed solar radiation are given in detailes. Apparatus IKOR is working without wrongs and interruptions more than 2 years with rate of 1/s. The developed in Saratov State University methods make it possible uniformly process all observational material and investigate climate - components of Earth radiation balance connections
