Based on the method of spatiotemporal interpolation of satellite data proposed by authors created are the maps of evolution of water vapor field over the region of the Atlantic Ocean involved into the process of TC Katrina's formation, development and leaving to the high latitudes. The maps detail the state of the region under investigation with the temporal resolution of 6 hours and finer within the interval of calculation from August, 23 through September, 04 year 2005. The estimates by the method of spatiotemporal interpolation are given in comparison with the records of DB "Global-TC", which contain information on the trajectory and development phases of TC Katrina from independent observations.
Keywords: TC Katrina, water vapor field, spatiotemporal interpolation
