The measurement of the radiation balance component from "Meteor-M" satellite. The IKOR-M radiometer

A brief summary about works concerning the development in Saratov State University some radiometers «Short-wave outgoing radiation monitor» (IKOR) of three generations is given. This apparatus are intended for measurement from satellites of outgoing shortwave radiation (OSR) that gives possibilities to receive instant and daily averaged albedo values, absorbed solar radiation, and also monthly averaged values. The principle of work, the design, the calibration method and other data concerning the radiometer of third generation IKOR-M are given in details. This radiometer is working from the 2009 on «Meteor-M» №1 satellite. The scientific information is received from the November 2009, with the 1/s rate. The radiometer has no interruption in work. This paper contains the different evaluation of main errors of the measurements. The scale of measurements are close enough to the well-known scales of other radiometers.
