Basic elements are described of technology of natural and anthropogenic objects pattern recognition and state parameters assessment for soil-vegetation cover using multispectral and hyperspectral airspace remote sensing data. Main attention is paid to comparison of data processing results for combined airphoto- and hyperspectral surveys and ground-based forest taxation data for a selected region. Higher quality is demonstrated of the gained information products of hyperspectral imagery processing as compared with the common-used approaches based on the well-known vegetation indices concept.
